National "Scandalopetra" diving contest (Greece)

So there's a national (I mistakenly had said international in another post, sorry) diving contest taking place in Porto Koufo port in Chalkidiki these days, Porto Koufo served as port for German submarines & warships during WWII and its bottom has wrecks and stuff.

Thank you Perfect Pushup!

So yesterday I was in an exhibition and there was a Gym's stand featuring a power plate. (I have never tried using a power plate but have been told it's extremely tiring)

Fitness during summer

Summer's has arrived and temperatures are rather high, at least here in Greece, reaching 37 Celsius at 16:00 yesterday.

Needless to say I never stop exercising no matter how high or how low temperatures get and of course I never skip my running sessions (regardless of rain, snow, or blazing heat).

First of all my compliments to Team Perfect and Stew Smith! Today I put 3 products to the test, PPU handles, Perfect Pullup handles (just got them), and Stew Smith's Grinder PT.

100 Perfect pushups (in as few sets as possible)
10 Perfect pullups (shoulder width) rest with 20 dips after each set of pullups x 5 cycles
10 Perfect pullups (close width) rest with 20 dips after each set of pullups x 5 cycles

i've always found eating my carbs before noon and sticking to protein and vegies after lunch is a good course. I hate diets- loath them and think our brains and cravings can often tell us what we need nutritionally. My focus is no sugar, no white flour, no red meat (well I try...) I love juicing! and stick most any vegie in the blender.
